About Darya

Hi! My name is Darya, and I am currently pursuing an MSc in Electrical Engineering at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME).

I know firsthand how challenging math can feel 🥲 I mean, I was just a freshman myself not so long ago, constantly doubting my knowledge, wondering whether I would ever “get it”. Spoiler: I did and even managed to successfully tutor my classmates as well! That’s why I try to teach the way I wish I had been taught. With fun and minimal complications

Whether your goal is to pass an exam, improve your grades, or become the next Tony Stark (I'm the biggest fan of him), I believe math will stay useful long after the course is over.

About the lesson

Every student learns differently, so I try to adapt my lessons to your pace and goals. Whether you’re preparing for an exam, struggling with homework, or simply want to understand a topic better, we’ll focus on building intuition rather than memorizing formulas.

I love to explain concepts step by step and use practical examples whenever possible, so that students can actually see why we are even doing it. I believe it's especially hard for math to keep the bird-view idea why and what we're doing.

Questions are always welcome, and I don’t expect anyone to understand everything immediately, because learning is a process, not a race :) I'm very patient in this matter, so don't be shy!

I teach algebra, calculus, linear algebra, discrete math and LaTeX for all levels. Potentially, other subjects, as well, just let me know what you need! My lessons are available in English and Russian and are suitable for students from elementary school to university level
