I think what makes Mr. Yavari a great teacher, is that he's got multiple approaches and angles for teaching each concept, and so can tailor his teaching style to the needs of every student. He's diligent, patient, and committed to the success of his students. He creates a positive, safe, and productive environment in his sessions and at the same time, maintains a high level of professionalism. Trust me, if your student is struggling in math class and nothing seems to work, regular sessions with Mr. Yavari can do wonders for them.

Find out more about Ali

When and why did you develop an interest in your chosen field?
My interest in math and physics started early on-they were the subjects that made the most sense to me. I loved solving problems and understanding how things work. That interest naturally led me to study engineering, where both subjects are essential.
What makes you passionate about your subject?
Math and physics explain the world around us. I enjoy how they build logic and critical thinking. It's satisfying to help students see how even the toughest problems can be broken down into simple, clear steps.
What do you like about tutoring? What makes you a "Superprof"?
I like seeing the moment when a concept clicks for a student. I focus on understanding, not memorization, and I adapt my teaching to the student's pace. What makes me a "Superprof" is that I bring patience, structure, and real problem-solving skills to every session.
Do you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you? Please explain.
Yes-my high school physics teacher made a big impact. He showed how powerful clear explanations and real-world examples can be. That's something I've tried to carry into my own teaching.
What are your keys to success?
Clarity, consistency, and practice. I believe anyone can get good at math or physics with the right guidance and enough practice. My goal is to make that path easier and more enjoyable.
