About Ruby
I am a qualified electrical engineer from Australia with 7 years experience in building services and renewable energy design. I have worked in Melbourne, San Francisco and am currently volunteering in a refugee camp in Ethiopia. While in University I tutored high school students in maths and I am currently teaching electrical fundamentals to refugee technicians.

In my experience everyone learns differently so I try to get a good feel for how that person might digest information the best. I've taught students who are passionate and eager to learn as well as those who have low interest and I have had success with both. In the end I think it comes down to having a good relationship, mutual respect, some patience and a sense of humour.
