About Zofia

I am a dedicated violin teacher with eight years of experience and a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a focus on violin. My teaching blends classical mastery with creative exploration of modern styles, helping students develop both technical skill and artistic expression. I love guiding learners to discover their own musical voice while strengthening foundational techniques.

My lessons focus on bowing, vibrato, phrasing, and musical interpretation, giving students the tools to play with confidence and emotion. I also provide structured support for exam preparation, ensuring that students feel prepared and confident in performance settings. Ensemble coaching is another passion of mine, as I enjoy helping students collaborate, listen, and blend with others.

I adapt each lesson to the student’s goals, whether they are preparing for competitions, exploring modern music, or seeking personal growth through violin. Improvisation, creative exercises, and musical games are incorporated to make learning engaging and inspiring. My approach balances discipline and freedom, fostering both technical excellence and expressive artistry.

About the lesson

My violin teaching approach encourages curiosity and self-guided discovery, allowing students to explore music in ways that feel personal and exciting. I use creative methods such as sound exploration, musical games, and improvisation exercises to make each lesson interactive and inspiring. Students experiment with different tones, dynamics, and textures to deepen their connection with the instrument.

I incorporate ear–eye coordination techniques alongside foundational skills like open string resonance and fingerboard mapping. These exercises help learners develop precision, agility, and confidence while improving listening and observation skills. Students also practice attentive listening, recognizing subtle differences in pitch, tone, and rhythm, which strengthens overall musicality.

My lessons are flexible to support learners with different goals. Those who enjoy independent exploration are encouraged to experiment with their own musical ideas. Students seeking emotional connection focus on expressive phrasing and tonal nuance. Learners aiming for strong technical mastery receive structured guidance in posture, intonation, and bow control. Creative expression is nurtured through improvisation and personal composition projects.
