Christine has tutored our son (aged 11 now) and daughter (aged 14) over the last 5 years, starting during the pandemic when she supported us with home-schooling. Both children have loved having Christine as their tutor and look forward to their lessons.

Christine taught our daughter from Year 3 to Year 6, supporting her through her SATS where she achieved greater depth in all her subjects. Her thoughtful approach was just what our daughter needed during SATs, which was stressful for her as they were sitting their SATs in the first year coming out from the pandemic. She tutored her until the end of Year 8 focussing on Maths and Creative Writing. This helped our daughter develop strong confidence in Maths and critical thinking, setting her in good stead for Key Stage 3 where she’s now in top sets for both English and Maths.

Christine is currently tutoring our son and supporting him for his SATS in a few months. Before this, she tutored him for his 11+ exams including Kent, Bexley, Sutton, and St Olaves. He passed all with flying colours, and he would not have achieved this without Christine's thorough and empathetic exam preparation - particularly for reading comprehension, poetry interpretation, and creative writing. The support she gave him and us was invaluable in helping manage the pressure he sometimes felt in the run-up to mocks and the actual exams.

Christine has been tutoring our daughter for the past couple of months during lockdown. We started with Christine during lockdown to help with the homeschooling and have continued with her as the kids enjoy her lessons and I feel they have improved in both their Maths and English skills. Christine has a great rapport with the kids and tailors the lesson to each different personality which works really well with my kids. With Christine being a teacher, she is very knowledgable at what level they should be at and I find that she covers a lot of the work they have done since being back in the classroom. I am more than happy and would highly recommend Christine.
