About Alexandra

I am an Ecuadorian woman, 49 years old, Engineer in Business Administration, Accountant and MBA with a mention in sustainable socio-productive innovation. I studied at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador (PUCE) and professionally I have worked in several companies that are well positioned in the market. From 2012 to 2022 I was a university professor at the UIDE and I have taught subjects related to Administration. I have also taught training courses on subjects related to management and entrepreneurship.
I like reading, singing, dancing, cooking, movies, TV, especially documentaries and educational programs. Throughout my academic life I have participated in oratory contests, book readings, composition: I like to read and write a lot.
I consider that teaching is a way to share knowledge and at the same time learn from the people I am addressing. I like teaching very much.

About the lesson

My interest is to help the student to learn Spanish according to his or her need of application and ease of learning. That is why before starting the classes it is important to define the objective and/or goal that the student wants to achieve with the classes he/she will receive.
Once this is determined, I elaborate the material to be used for the grammatical part and the support tools: videos on various topics, history, exercises, cultural topics from various Spanish-speaking countries and also topics that are of interest to the student. We also review idioms and the multiple meanings that words can have depending on the context in which they are being used.
The classes are aimed at anyone interested in learning the language from the age of 12 onwards: the academic level is not relevant, however it is appropriate to indicate that the organization of the class will also depend on it.
