About Xuemeng
Hello, My name is Lisa and I am Chinese. I have earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and am ready to start my graduate study soon. Apart from being an economist, I am also a language lover and a singer. I have 15 years of experience in vocal music. I am a native speaker in Mandarin, and I have been living and studying in North America for 7 years, therefore, I speak fluent English. I also took a minor in French in college, so I am capable of teaching basics in French. I also have N2 certificate in Japanese and I am happy to teach students interested in learning Japanese. I enjoy tutoring students and it excites me to see them getting familiar with new knowledge and skills.

I teach based on each student's level and needs.On my class, I lead my student through new materials together, practice with them, give the student time to digest new information, and attentively interact with them.
I enjoy being a tutor because while I am helping others to learn new things, I can spend my time more efficiently and meaningfully.

Economics - IB student/ College year 1-2 student/Anyone new to economics
English - students with a goal to practice speaking, writing, and reading.
Mandarin -I am native speaker in Mandarin, I am happy to teach students at any level.
Singing -students with the need to practice singing techniques such as warming up, breathing practice, falsetto skills, note reading, beat learning, and music interpretation.
French - students who are new to French and wish to learn the basics of pronunciation, phonetics, and grammar.
Japanese - students who are new to Japanese and wish to learn the basics of pronunciation, phonetics, grammar, and character writing.
