I would like to give you certain pointers:-
1. Think Simple: Whatever you do, trust me every economic concept can be understood in one line in the most simplest language possible. So try to simply it in a way you understand. Lets take the most simplest term GDP. What is GDP? Gross Domestic Product! Its just the market value of all goods and services produced in an economy in a given year.
2. Visualize and examples: I think one thing I naturally used while studying this subject was examples. Be it demand, supply, hypothesis testing. You will get basic examples in your every day life. Use them! Visualize them and the situation!
3. Break it Down: I have always found that for me breaking economics down , helped me understand the meaning of each concept in detail. Economics, you see will have three parts, theory, math, combination of both. Study these three one by one, the less you mix, the more you get.
4. Time: Lastly I would say give it some time, and work hard. This is true for any subject you want to study.
