About Tanisha

I'm a current Economics undergraduate with a profound passion for teaching. As a student immersed in the world of economics, I've developed a deep understanding of the subject's principles and applications. My enthusiasm for economics extends beyond the classroom, as I find joy in sharing my knowledge and helping others grasp complex economic concepts. While pursuing my degree, I've had the opportunity to assist classmates, mentor younger students, and engage in tutoring sessions. This hands-on experience has honed my ability to communicate effectively, adapt teaching methods to different learning styles, and provide tailored guidance to help students succeed academically.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology revolves around fostering a deep understanding of the subject matter through engaging discussions, practical examples, and interactive activities. I believe in tailoring lessons to individual learning styles and needs, employing a variety of resources such as visual aids, simulations, and real-world applications to enhance comprehension and retention.

A typical lesson with me lasts around 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on the complexity of the subject matter and the student's attention span. However, for more intensive sessions, such as those for A-Level and GCSE students, I offer 2-hour lessons to allow for in-depth exploration and practice.

I am currently studying Economics at University and have three years of experience tutoring students both online and in person. My expertise lies in GCSE Maths and A-Level Economics , and I am adept at breaking down complex concepts into manageable chunks, ensuring students grasp the fundamentals before moving on to advanced topics.

My lessons cater to students at the A-Level and GCSE levels, typically ranging from ages 14 to 18. Whether students are preparing for exams or seeking to deepen their understanding of the subject, my lessons are tailored to meet their specific goals and learning objectives.

By incorporating a blend of theory, practical applications, and exam-focused strategies, I aim to empower students to achieve academic success while nurturing a genuine passion for learning.
