About Owen

My interest in economics began when I started learning how financial decisions affect communities and national development. I became curious about how governments design policies and how markets respond to economic changes. This curiosity encouraged me to pursue higher studies and complete a PhD in Economics, where I studied economic theory, policy analysis, and global markets.

During my 9 years of teaching, I have worked with many students who wanted to understand economics more clearly. My teaching philosophy focuses on explaining complex ideas in a simple and structured way. I encourage students to explore real-world examples so they can connect theory with practical situations.

Outside teaching, I enjoy reading economic reports and following international financial developments. These interests allow me to bring current economic topics into my lessons. Teaching economics is meaningful because I see students gain confidence in understanding financial systems and develop awareness of how economic decisions shape societies.

About the lesson

My economics lessons focus on helping students understand how economic ideas influence daily life and global systems. Many learners believe economics is only about numbers and graphs, but during the lessons they discover that it explains real decisions made by individuals, businesses, and governments. We begin with basic concepts such as scarcity, opportunity cost, supply, and demand. These ideas help students understand how resources are used and why prices change in markets.

As students develop a stronger foundation, lessons introduce topics such as market structures, economic growth, inflation, and government policy. I guide learners through examples and discussions that demonstrate how economic theory explains real-world situations. Students learn to analyze economic problems and think about how different decisions influence markets and societies.

My goal is to help students develop a clear and practical understanding of economics. Lessons focus on connecting theory with everyday examples so learners can see how economic principles operate in real life. Over time students become more confident in discussing economic ideas and analyzing financial events.
