About Joseph

Joey Hydon An experienced mentor and tutor in GCSE, A-level and University concepts. I am intensely passionate about economics especially game theory and behavioural economics. My job working in one of the biggest tech firms in the world (SAP) has provided me with a rounded view on learning; as well as putting me in the students shoes, which has inspired me to create interesting and helpful lessons tailored to each individual. I would love to help you improve your economics skills, understanding and also to help you achieve your goals.

About the lesson

Techniques and Teaching Methodology: I leverage tailored individual strategies honed through two years of mentoring and tutoring experience at university. This is because everyone learns slightly differently. I use interactive discussions, activities, real world experience and examples to reinforce learning. Typical Length of a Lesson: Sessions can be anywhere from 30 to 90 minutes, accommodating the varied schedules and attention spans of A-level and GCSE students. I emphasise concise delivery and active engagement to maximise learning efficiency. Qualifications/Experience as a Tutor: Distinguished by two years of mentoring and tutoring at university, supplemented by two years of specialised GCSE and A-level tutoring. I am continuously refining my skills and methodologies to give the most effective guidance tailored to whatever the individual needs. Who Are My Lessons For: Designed for A-level and GCSE students seeking comprehensive support and exam preparation. I utilise my university mentoring experience to foster a supportive learning environment. A customised approach can address diverse learning needs and promote academic success within flexible timeframes.

I conduct my lessons on teams, and get paid via bank account, so please don't be alarmed if you don't see an option for online lessons, just drop me a message and we will arrange a call, Happy studying!! Please have a notepad with you and quizizz installed on phone or open in web page. The first 30 minutes are for us to establish a good working relationship, learn some cool stuff and also to see what you are looking to get out of the sessions.
