About Elaina

My interest in Economics developed from observing how individual, business, and governmental decisions impact society. This curiosity led me to earn a B.A. in Economics, gaining expertise in microeconomics, macroeconomics, and applied analysis. Over 10 years, I have taught learners at multiple levels, fostering analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, and practical understanding of economic principles. I teach with patience, clarity, and adaptability, using case studies, examples, and interactive discussion to make lessons engaging and relevant. I encourage curiosity, independent thinking, and logical reasoning, helping learners connect theory to practical scenarios. Outside the classroom, I stay updated on economic research, global trends, and policy developments. Incorporating current insights into lessons enriches understanding and encourages critical thinking. Guiding learners to develop confidence, analytical ability, and real-world economic insight remains deeply rewarding and motivates me to continue teaching with dedication.

About the lesson

Economics becomes tangible when learners can see the relevance of principles in everyday life. I start lessons with foundational concepts such as scarcity, opportunity cost, supply and demand, and market equilibrium. Through practical examples, case studies, and interactive discussion, students develop analytical reasoning, logical thinking, and conceptual clarity. Lessons encourage critical evaluation, reasoning, and structured problem-solving to build confidence and comprehension. Intermediate lessons focus on elasticity, production and cost analysis, macroeconomic indicators, and policy evaluation. Students practice interpreting data, constructing arguments, and applying theoretical knowledge to real-world economic scenarios. Emphasis is placed on analytical reasoning, structured thinking, and decision-making skills, preparing learners for academic success and practical application. Advanced lessons cover international trade, fiscal and monetary policies, economic growth, and applied case studies. Students are encouraged to analyze complex situations, evaluate policy implications, and synthesize information to form informed conclusions. My teaching combines structured guidance, real-world examples, and interactive discussion to develop competence, confidence, and a deep understanding of Economics.
