About Charlie

My passion for Economics developed from observing how decisions influence markets, communities, and society. I earned a B.A. in Economics, gaining a foundation in both theoretical and applied economics. Over 8 years, I have guided students to develop analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and practical understanding through engaging lessons. I teach with patience, clarity, and encouragement, using examples, diagrams, and exercises to make concepts tangible. I adapt lessons to each learner’s pace, ensuring understanding and confidence while exploring complex economic principles. Outside teaching, I stay informed about contemporary economic research, global policies, and market trends. Integrating these insights into lessons enriches learning and helps students apply economic reasoning beyond the classroom. Supporting learners as they become analytical and confident thinkers is one of the most fulfilling aspects of my work.

About the lesson

Economics becomes interesting when students understand how principles affect real-world decisions. I begin lessons with foundational topics such as scarcity, opportunity cost, supply and demand, market structures, and incentives. Using everyday examples, learners connect abstract theory to practical applications, building both understanding and confidence. Lessons emphasize structured explanations, active exploration, and analytical thinking.

Intermediate lessons cover elasticity, production, cost functions, macroeconomic indicators, and policy evaluation. Students practice reading graphs, interpreting data, and forming logical arguments. Exercises strengthen analytical reasoning, problem-solving, and decision-making, preparing learners for academic success and real-life application of economic principles.

Advanced lessons focus on international trade, fiscal and monetary policies, economic growth, and case studies. Students learn to analyze complex situations, evaluate policies, and draw reasoned conclusions. My teaching approach combines clarity, patience, and structured guidance, helping learners develop both academic competence and practical insight into Economics.
