About Camila

My interest in economics began with fascination for how markets shape human opportunity and social development. I earned an M.A. in International Economics, where I studied global trade, policy systems, and economic growth models. Over 12 years of teaching, I have supported students in building strong understanding through clarity and encouragement.

I believe economics should be taught through connection and real-world relevance. My teaching style focuses on structured explanation, discussion-based learning, and helping students express economic ideas confidently. I enjoy guiding learners who feel unsure about graphs or essays, helping them develop strong analytical skills.

Outside tutoring, I stay engaged with economics through global market reading, policy research, and current economic debates. Teaching is meaningful because students often gain a new lens for understanding the world. Supporting learners as they grow into confident economic thinkers is deeply rewarding.

About the lesson

Economics becomes engaging when students realize it is the study of how societies make choices under scarcity. In my lessons, I guide learners through supply and demand, market structures, macroeconomic policy, and real-world economic reasoning with clear and supportive explanation. I focus on helping students connect theory to everyday economic events.

Lessons are personalized by level. Beginners explore foundational concepts like opportunity cost, basic graphs, and consumer behavior. Intermediate learners develop stronger understanding of inflation, unemployment, fiscal policy, and international trade systems. Advanced students refine essay writing, data interpretation, evaluation skills, and exam-level analysis. Each lesson includes structured discussion and clear feedback.

Economics lessons help students build analytical thinking, awareness of global systems, and confidence in understanding financial realities. Many learners become more curious as they connect economics to news, policy, and personal decision making. My goal is to make economics clear, relevant, and empowering for every student.
