About Ayla

My journey into Economics began with curiosity about how societies allocate resources and manage growth. I completed a B.Sc in Economics followed by an M.A in Public Policy, which strengthened my understanding of economic theory and real-world application. Over 12 years of teaching, I have helped students build strong analytical foundations with clarity and confidence.

I value structured teaching combined with open discussion. My approach emphasizes breaking down complex models into understandable steps while encouraging students to question and explore ideas. I adapt explanations to suit different learning styles and academic goals.

Beyond teaching, I remain engaged with economics through policy analysis, research reading, and global economic discussions. These experiences enrich my lessons and provide real-world context. Teaching Economics is rewarding because I help learners gain clarity and confidence in understanding the forces shaping economies worldwide.

About the lesson

Economics becomes meaningful when learners understand how theory explains everyday decisions and global outcomes. My lessons focus on building clarity in microeconomics, macroeconomics, and applied economic reasoning through structured explanation and practical examples. I help students understand markets, incentives, government intervention, and economic indicators in a calm and approachable manner. Lessons emphasize logical flow so students can see how concepts naturally connect.

Lesson depth is tailored to the learner’s level. Beginners focus on basic concepts, graphs, and economic language. Intermediate learners explore elasticity, production theory, fiscal and monetary policy, and national income analysis. Advanced learners work with case studies, data interpretation, exam writing skills, and critical evaluation of economic arguments. Practice questions and guided feedback are integral to every lesson.

Economics lessons develop disciplined thinking and informed judgment. Students become more confident discussing economic issues and interpreting real-world data. Many begin applying economic reasoning to news, policy debates, and everyday choices. My goal is to help learners feel empowered by Economics and capable of thinking critically about the systems shaping society.
