About Nalani

My name is Nalani. I am an IB graduate pursuing my Economics. I'm very passionate about and truly enjoy economics and its application in the real world, especially towards national and international development. I tutored throughout high school in different subjects including higher-level economics, higher-level global politics, and higher-level English to both fast and slow-learning style students. Outside of that - I am passionate about the arts, thus, I also taught a culinary arts excellence class and directed Mamma Mia's first production in East Africa. Hence, I am experienced in the teaching environment and can provide a professional but enjoyable learning environment.

About the lesson

My lessons include a breakdown of the content using real-life examples to help it be more relatable. I also use worksheet questions that we can work through together to practice the content learned and skills acquired. Finally, I use sample questions and past papers to help you learn how to answer questions to score full marks. Based on the learner, I can do more visual lessons, practical lessons, or theoretical questions - however, my lessons offer a combination of them. All of which should help you score full marks on the structured questions and essay questions. My lessons vary between 45 minutes to an hour and a half, depending on the students and their requirements. I can tutor up until the high school level.

Perfect! Nalani titored my son in economics. He had learnt a little and with 9 weeks left before his GCSE Nalani cane onboard to teach him. She was amazing, helpful, knowledgeable and could not have done more to get our son through his exam. She did as many hours as we wanted and was extremely accommodating. I cannot thank her enough as my son has taken his exams and sat them with total confidence. Thank you Nalani I would recommend you to anyone.
