About Suri
My passion for economics stems from a desire to understand how societies allocate resources, make decisions, and manage financial systems. This led me to pursue a Master’s degree in Economics, focusing on both theory and applied economic analysis. Over the past 6 years, I have taught students ranging from beginners exploring foundational concepts to advanced learners preparing for higher education and analytical projects. My teaching philosophy emphasizes clarity, practical relevance, and interactive learning, making economics approachable, meaningful, and engaging.
I design lessons that cater to individual learning styles, ensuring students progress with confidence and understanding. Beginners benefit from structured explanations, relatable examples, and guided exercises that simplify complex concepts. Intermediate learners develop analytical reasoning, problem-solving skills, and data interpretation abilities. Advanced learners explore applied modeling, policy evaluation, and research analysis, fostering critical thinking, quantitative reasoning, and independent learning habits. I encourage active participation, curiosity, and exploration of real-world economic scenarios to deepen comprehension.
Beyond teaching, I engage with contemporary research, economic trends, and data analysis projects, which enrich my lessons and allow students to connect classroom learning with practical applications. Witnessing learners grow in confidence, analytical abilities, and decision-making is deeply rewarding. My goal is to cultivate students who approach economics thoughtfully, reason logically, and apply their knowledge effectively, preparing them for both academic success and informed engagement with the world.

Economics becomes compelling and practical when students learn to connect theories with real-world situations. My lessons cover microeconomics, macroeconomics, market structures, financial systems, supply-demand analysis, and behavioral economics. Beginners focus on fundamental concepts, such as scarcity, opportunity cost, and basic market mechanisms. Intermediate learners explore elasticity, consumer behavior, production theory, market equilibrium, and applied financial models. Advanced learners tackle policy analysis, macroeconomic modeling, data interpretation, and critical evaluation of economic scenarios, fostering analytical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving.
I emphasize hands-on application through case studies, graphs, real-life examples, and data-driven exercises. Lessons are structured to match each learner’s skill level, ensuring clarity and engagement. Students are encouraged to explore scenarios critically, analyze data, and apply economic reasoning to problems, fostering independent thought and practical understanding. Emphasis on interpretation, reasoning, and logical conclusions equips learners to approach economics analytically and systematically, preparing them for exams, projects, and real-world problem-solving.
Economics lessons not only build subject knowledge but also nurture critical thinking, decision-making, and quantitative reasoning. Students develop confidence in analyzing economic trends, interpreting data, and applying theoretical frameworks to practical situations. My ultimate goal is to help learners approach economics with curiosity, clarity, and analytical rigor, equipping them to make informed decisions, excel academically, and understand the economic principles that shape the world.
