About Duc
An economics & business lecturer (A-level, IB, GCSE, University level) and an international trade economist, Acton-based. My research focuses on trade balance, exchange rates, trade wars, and CGE modelling.
I come from an academic background, with my mother teaching maths and physics at a secondary school, and my father teaching physics at a university. Through this upbringing, I've come to understand that being a great teacher takes more than just a deep understanding of the subject matter - it also requires a genuine passion and love for the profession. Helping young students to grasp knowledge quickly and effectively requires unique skills that not every teacher possesses. I owe my gratitude to my mother, who provided me with opportunities to teach maths at the age of 15 and taught me what it takes to be an exceptional educator.

My teaching approach prioritises the practical application of theoretical concepts to real-life scenarios. Additionally, I use a variety of teaching methods such as lectures, group discussions, and practical exercises, ensuring that I cater to the different learning styles of my students.
