About Lucy
Hello! My name is Lucy. I am a graduate of Loughborough University in MSc Economics and Finance. I will be starting my Master's degree in October at UCL in MA Education. I plan to become a teacher or work in the education field in the future, so this is a great opportunity for me to start building my tutoring experience:)
I have taught Maths and English to primary/secondary school students in China, conducting my lesson entirely in English.
Although English is my second language, I have been in the UK since secondary school so not only I am familiar with the teaching syllabus, but I can also deliver my lessons fluently in English. I am happy to teach some basic Chinese Mandarin as well!

My aim is to get you to understand a topic or concept better so you can get a good grade for your exams. My teaching method is always approachable and fun, please feel free to ask as many questions as you like!
I come from China and have been in the UK since secondary school, so I am very familiar with the UK teaching syllabus. *PLEASE SEND ME YOUR EXAM BOARDS (OCR/AQA) OR ANY LEARNING MATERIAL IN ADVANCE*
Maths:
I myself have experienced private tutoring in China, so I will pass on to you the tips and tricks for Maths which I have found really useful. I'm sure this will make Maths more simple and less boring to learn!
Economics:
I have studied Economics in A-level as well as in University. I can teach both Micro and Macroeconomics, making sure that the learning process is fun and you would understand the concepts thoroughly.
Each lesson will be 1 hour, if you would like a longer lesson, feel free to let me know.
