About Bev
I'm a qualified teacher/trainer/tutor in multiple subjects for learners of all ages. I have worked in education for 15 years in various settings from mainstream to special educational needs, this includes learners with additional needs such as dyslexia, autism, ADHD, physical disabilities, learning difficulties and so on. I have a vast amount of knowledge and understanding to ensure behaviour management is also effective in an unintimidating way and a more relaxed and holistic approach. I am relaxed teacher and work around my learners and their individual needs to ensure a rapport relationship is effective. This includes not only teaching learners but also listening to them to ensure that they enjoy and learn to their full potential.

My teaching is always catered for the learners individual needs to ensure they are learning at the pace to suit them in addition to ensuring the right resources are in place to promote effective learning. E. G. Use of adapted resources such as enlargements, coloured printed work.
My methods also links to working with learners to engage them in a positive manner as I have great understanding behind why learners do not achieve in education due to poor and ineffective relations and reaching methods due to lack of knowledge and understanding. I build on these barriers to prevent negative attitudes and empower positive approaches.
