About John
I’ve been writing and playing music for 40 years. I have licensed over 53 songs in television and movies. I grew up in Los Angeles and studied mptv and fine arts at UCLA. I resided in Nashville in the 80s and 90’s and moved back out west to north county, San Diego. I currently reside in Leucadia with son and two dogs.

Since I approach music with a songwriter mentality, I stress Melody and words and humming along as you learn. I am very patient and kind. I also write poetry and have published a book of haikus. I am currently also working on a biography of Tsol lead singer Joe Wood.
