Hello!
If you are looking for some extra numeracy and literacy support for your child -I would to help you out! I am Kindergarten/Grade 1 teacher who is pursuing my masters and therefore not teaching full time. Prior to the pursuit of my masters degree, I taught Kindergarten full time for 3 years, and Grade 1 for two years.
During my time teaching I learned and saw just how vital building early numeracy and literacy skills are for a child's education. I have a strong ability to build relationships with students and use what I learn about them to adapt their instruction to be fun and engaging for them.
I am confident I can develop a specialized program for your child to either bring them to grade level, or above grade level. All children learn differently and sometimes they are just not able to have those needs met in a busy classroom full of other needs.
I am glad to provide professional references, and I can be flexible with my time as I am currently only pursuing online courses. In January 2024 I will begin schooling full-time and may no longer tutor after that date.
