About Gabrielle

I will be receiving my Associate's degree in May of this year. This degree is for Early Childhood Education. I'm currently working on my Bachelor's Degree in Human Development and Family Studies. I have a year of experience tutoring students from when I was in high school. English is my best subject, but I am able to tutor in Math, Science, and Spanish. I can also tutor other subjects that may be of difficulty.

Hi!
My name is Gabby! I'm an early childhood educator with an associate's degree. I have over 17 years of experience with young kids starting at the age of eight when my middle brother was born, and then when my youngest brother was born four years later. I tutored in high school in Math, and I also am able to help with science and math. I have a passion for helping children learn and also to help them succeed. I understand all different types of learning styles and can cater to your child's specific needs and learning style. These lessons are for anyone who is in need of help with homework, and who may be struggling in any subject area. I believe in the child/student-lead teaching method, meaning that what your child/student needs help with is what I will tutor them on. I also will ask questions for understanding and will also do my best to answer any questions that they may have in the best way possible. If they don't understand something I've said, I will do my best to explain the answer in a way that is understandable to them and will help them remember. I'm different from other tutors in that I believe that each person is unique and doesn't learn the same way as someone else. What works for one person doesn't work with another. I'll do my best to make lessons fun and enjoyable and offer praise when the student succeeds, and encouragement if the student struggles. I'm very patient and will not get frustrated if one concept is more difficult than others.
