About Alistair

I am an experienced Spanish instructor with 8 years of teaching experience, working with high school and college students from different academic backgrounds. I have helped students improve exam performance and develop strong communication skills in Spanish.

Personalised learning is a key part of my teaching philosophy. I customise lesson plans to suit each student’s pace, strengths, and areas for improvement. This helps students feel supported and confident throughout the learning process.

My teaching approach combines clear explanations with practical application. Lessons include grammar practice, vocabulary building, conversation exercises, and real-life usage. Cultural context is also included to deepen understanding.

I am committed to providing a positive and respectful learning environment. Through encouragement, feedback, and structured guidance, I help students achieve lasting results in Spanish.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology for Spanish combines creativity, clarity, and steady practice. I believe students learn best when lessons are interactive, enjoyable, and meaningful.

I use creative methods such as storytelling, dialogues, role plays, visuals, and real-life examples. Grammar is explained in simple terms and reinforced through speaking and writing exercises. This helps students retain knowledge and apply it confidently.

As a mentor and critical thinker, I guide students to understand sentence structures, correct mistakes, and think logically about the language. I encourage curiosity, independent thinking, and active participation.

Accountability is an important part of my teaching. I provide regular practice tasks, assignments, and constructive feedback. Students are encouraged to track their progress and stay consistent.

Along with Spanish, I also teach communication skills, pronunciation improvement, vocabulary building, cultural awareness, and exam preparation. My goal is to help students become fluent and confident Spanish speakers.
