About Karunya Sai

I am a dedicated online tutor who recently completed my 10th standard from the international IGCSE curriculum, achieving A grades in Economics and Accounting. This strong background in the humanities and social sciences gives me an excellent foundation for teaching History, Civics, and Social Studies.

I have practical, hands-on experience working with younger students, as I regularly tutor my younger brother and help him with his daily schoolwork. This has taught me how to be patient, how to break down difficult concepts into simple terms, and how to keep young learners focused and motivated.

Because I recently went through the Cambridge IGCSE Board exams myself, I know exactly how to make lessons stress-free and relatable. I use my strong communication skills to help students build confidence, understand the "why" behind what they are learning, and excel in their school curriculum.

About the lesson

My classes are designed to make Social Sciences, History, and Civics deeply engaging and easy to visualize. Instead of forcing students to memorize dry facts and dates, I focus on storytelling and conceptual understanding.

How I structure my 1-hour sessions:
The Storyteller Approach: I explain historical events and civic concepts like a story, making them relatable and easy to remember.
Interactive Discussions: I encourage students to ask questions, share their thoughts, and connect what they learn to
the real world.
Regular Visual Check-ins: We use simple mind-maps, timelines, and quick quizzes to ensure the concepts stick without any stress.
Homework & School Alignment: I align my lessons directly with the student's school curriculum to help them stay ahead in class and build confidence.
