About Avery

With 13 years of ESL teaching experience, I specialize in guiding high school and college students toward achieving proficiency and confidence in English. My lessons are personalized, designed to match the student’s learning style, goals, and academic level.

I integrate grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and speaking practice with interactive exercises, discussions, and real-world examples. My teaching emphasizes both competence and confidence, helping students actively engage with the material and express themselves fluently.

Over the years, I have successfully helped students improve their language skills, academic performance, and overall confidence, preparing them to excel in school, exams, and everyday communication.

About the lesson

I teach ESL using a C³P methodology—Creativity, Communication, Compassion, and Problem-solving. Creativity is encouraged through storytelling, role-playing, and project-based exercises that allow students to explore language imaginatively and express themselves confidently.

Communication is central to my approach. I engage students in discussions, debates, and collaborative exercises that build fluency, comprehension, and practical language skills. Compassion ensures lessons are tailored to each student’s learning style and pace, providing encouragement, guidance, and feedback to foster confidence and motivation.

Problem-solving is integrated through scenario-based exercises, analytical tasks, and real-life challenges, allowing learners to apply English practically while developing critical thinking. I also include complementary subjects like reading comprehension, writing, and vocabulary enrichment to provide a well-rounded academic experience.

This methodology develops learners who are confident, creative, empathetic, and capable of applying English successfully in academic, professional, and everyday contexts.
