Hi! I’m Sakthi, a passionate and dedicated biology teacher currently pursuing my degree in science. I specialize in teaching students from grades 1 to 10, making biology easy to understand, exciting to learn, and connected to everyday life. I teach biology to students from grades 1–10 using engaging visuals, hands-on activities, and real-life examples. My classes build curiosity, understanding, and confidence through interactive lessons, tailored support, and a love for learning science.
Structure of a Typical Online Class
1. Warm-Up / Recap (5–10 mins):
We start with a quick quiz, poll, or question using interactive tools (like G meet ) to refresh previous topics and engage students.
2. Introduction of New Topic (10–15 mins):
I introduce the topic using real-life examples, short videos, or storytelling—often with screen sharing and visual aids to make concepts easy and fun.
3. Interactive Lesson (20–30 mins):
Lessons include simple digital presentations, live drawing/annotation, and occasional virtual lab simulations or games to keep students active and involved.
4. Student Practice (15–20 mins):
Students complete guided exercises, Google Forms, or short collaborative tasks in breakout rooms, and share answers using screen share or chat.
5. Wrap-Up & Reflection (5–10 mins):
We go over the key takeaways, answer questions live, and end with a challenge question or activity as homework, often shared via Google Classroom or email.
