About Christopher
I am currently a Mathematics teacher in a good (with outstanding features) school in Ipswich. I have been teaching for 7 years at KS3/4 Level and my students describe me as being approachable, creative and great with breaking things down.
I teach Mathematics to a range of students at all ability levels and year groups 7 to 11 - including some with special educational needs. 1 to 1 tutoring is best employed for bespoke and focussed work, which can help to improve confidence in the subject and gain a better understanding. I teach to the needs of who is in front of me, and tailor my resources to suit their ability and needs - I don't just give out any old worksheet.
I can help with important exam skills for those taking (or retaking) their GCSEs and promote an understanding for how to effectively and efficiently gain marks in questions. As a current teacher, I have up to date understanding of what the curriculum entails, and if there are any changes, this will be known to me also.

The way I teach is adapted to who is in front of me. I try to use as many real life examples (or draw from my own experiences) as possible to explain the more abstract or confusing parts of Maths. Understanding exactly why something works and then following the process is better than just doing it.
