About Anastasia
I am a university graduate who has been studying Latin for over a decade, I started at 11 years old. I understand that studying a new language can be difficult and have had my fair share of confusion with the language. I have developed tips and a broader u in how to explain things to others since I myself have found some aspects tricky. I enjoy the language and believe that a bit of extra support can improve one's grades and understanding building confidence and self- belief. This is necessary and important especially when tackling an unseen translation in an exam setting.

Hello,
I often start my lessons by understanding what the specific student needs further assistance with, by assessing their strengths and weaknesses.
I focus on building techniques to assist with translations and vocab learning. Providing support, tips and tricks that will be useful in the exam.
With a strong focus on beginners GCSE level as well as A level curriculum.
The typical lesson length can be anywhere from 45 minutes to 1h.
I like to focus on an unseen translation which helps build vocabulary and understanding on how to tackle these in the exam. I also believe these highlight what students can work on to build understanding.
From this unseen translation it can be an insight into what grammar support the student needs then we will focus on this and dig deeper in understanding this.
I am a university graduate and have experience tutoring students of ages usually 14-18 years old.
However, the main focus is on the level of the student and how I can assist them rather than the age of the student.
I have a focus on beginner students who are trying to get to grips with the language and translation style, whether they are studying Latin for the first time at university or at school.
