About Saahil
Having studied maths at GCSE, A-Level, and Degree level, I have first-hand knowledge that maths can be made significantly easier or more difficult depending on how it is taught!
I have seen my own share of disappointing test scores, but I eventually developed the skill of learning maths in such a way that I was able to adapt concepts to my own way of thinking, which allowed me to achieve over 96% in my Maths A-Level and 94% in Engineering Maths at University. The goal of GCSE and A-Level is to learn how to learn maths! This is a vital skill to have and one I aim to develop in all students I teach.
Consequently, I take a hands-on approach to helping students learn new methods and understand the underlying concepts. I use a range of tips, mental devices, and intuitive explanations that will help students to both understand methodologies and be able to reproduce said understanding in an exam setting.

My process for improving long-term mathematical ability:
1 - Identify weak points in comprehension within the syllabus/key methodologies
2- Build understanding using mental devices to understand what the operation is doing. (Many teachers explain the steps but don't explain what is actually happening!)
3- Test newfound understanding with example questions to ensure the method is solid
4- Repeat- If gaps appear, we can address the underlying misunderstanding and reinforce the method
Lessons are 60 minutes at £25/hour (this is open to discussion)
I am happy to travel to most locations within West/South-West London & North Surrey or teach online via Zoom.
