About Angelos Michail
I’m an engineering student at Duke University in the United States, currently studying abroad at the University of Sydney. Having studied across different education systems, I understand both the academic side of STEM subjects and the challenges students face when preparing for competitive universities.
Alongside mathematics, physics and chemistry, I can also support students preparing for the SAT, particularly SAT Math, as well as students interested in applying to universities in the United States. I can share first-hand guidance on the US college application process, university selection, extracurricular positioning, essays and interview preparation.
I enjoy teaching because I like helping students understand difficult concepts in a simpler way while also building the confidence and problem-solving skills they need to succeed independently.

I focus on making maths clear, intuitive, and practical rather than relying on memorization. I first identify where a student is struggling, then break problems down step by step and build confidence through targeted practice.
As a Duke University engineering student currently studying in Sydney, I have a strong background in mathematics, physics and chemistry and understand how these subjects connect in real applications.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes and are tailored to each student’s level, goals and learning style. I can help with school coursework, exam preparation, problem-solving techniques and more advanced STEM topics for high school and university students.
