About Charnene
Language is rarely about memorizing dusty textbooks in a quiet room. You will find that fluency comes from the chaos of real conversation rather than rigid grammar drills.
I bring a BA in Spanish and 13 years of experience to make sure you sound like a local. Whether you are a professional or a student tackling exams, I focus on the idioms and expressions that breathe life into your sentences. I work with kids and adults alike to build vocabulary that lasts. This is my life work.

Classes are built around real world scenarios where we use role play and dialogue to sharpen your ability to communicate naturally. I provide a homework module with feedback after every class to ensure your progress is consistent throughout the week.
My background as a native speaker with a degree from the University of Melbourne allows me to explain the subtle differences between Latin American and Castilian variants with ease. We move through verb conjugation and pronunciation exercises that keep your brain engaged and your tongue flexible. I keep the focus on everyday phrases for beginners because that is how you start to feel at home in a new culture. Preparation for IELTS or DELE becomes manageable when we break down complex grammar into bite sized pieces.
I love how language connects us to new stories and different worlds. It is truly the most enjoyable way to spend an hour.
