About Nicola

Hello hello - I’m Nic, a UK drama school trained actor (Italia Conti) with National Theatre and West End experience, as well as US and UK film and television credits. I’m also a certified life coach and work with corporate professionals to build confidence, presence, and communication skills.

I’m passionate about working with people at all stages - whether you’re exploring acting for the first time, preparing for drama school, building confidence, or wanting to feel more comfortable speaking in front of others. I believe learning is collaborative, and I aim to create a space that feels calm, supportive, and grounded rather than intimidating or rigid.

Above all, I care about helping people show up more authentically and enjoy the process. I take the craft seriously, but I believe the best and most truthful work happens when you feel safe, present, and free.

About the lesson

Looking to explore acting, build confidence, or feel more comfortable speaking in front of others?

My lessons are a calm, collaborative space where you are met exactly where you are. We begin with a short life-coaching style consultation so I can understand your goals, experience, and what you want to get out of the work. From there, sessions are tailored to you - practical, responsive, and focused on real progress rather than fixed formulas.

How I teach:

* Embodied, practical, and action-based work
* A collaborative approach - not teacher and student, but equals working together
* Supportive, calm, energetic, and encouraging, while still offering clear direction
* Serious about craft, without rigidity or pressure

What we work on (acting):

*Contemporary and classical texts
*Text analysis: intention, character, structure, and stakes
* Voice and speech: clarity, grounding, and resonance
* Presence, confidence, and truthful performance

The work draws on foundational techniques from Stanislavski, Meisner, Uta Hagen, and Stella Adler, adapted in a modern and accessible way for today’s film, television, and theatre landscape. I also have a wide, carefully curated database of texts and scripts, allowing us to choose material that suits your level, interests, and goals.

Drama school preparation:
* Monologue selection and preparation
* Audition technique and delivery
*Understanding what genuinely gets you in the room
* Career guidance and essential industry knowledge

Confidence & public speaking (all levels):
Ideal for professionals, creatives, non-actors, and children.

*Voice, breath, and physical presence
* Nervous system regulation and grounded confidence
* Speaking with clarity and authenticity without over-performing

Lesson structure:
