About Nicole
I am a Drama and Theatre teacher, about to undertake my new post at a Further Education provider in the Merseyside area.
After completing my Degree at John Moores, I went into the professional theatre world (until the world came to a sudden stop in 2020) and had experience working in different roles (performance and creative) in productions ranging from musicals to Shakespeare. I engaged in enrichment classes to keep my English Language skills sharp.
During my teacher training, I worked closely with the Drama and English departments, and tutored students preparing for GCSE exams, with particular attention to essay planning and writing, and how to understand exam questions.

I have worked with students studying at Key Stages 3, 4 and A-Level.
I have a holistic approach to teaching and will adapt lessons accordingly for the student/s to fully excel. I will spend time identifying students' key areas for development and plan a scheme of work to benefit the individual. I ask a lot of questions to keep you engaged and I would encourage you to do the same!
I have a PGDE in Post-14 Education, so the majority of my experience is with GCSE and A-Level students, but I have taught school years 8 and 9 as well.
I would recommend lessons of 45 minutes - 1.5 hours. I am happy to teach individuals and small groups.
