About Mark
I attended Kings College Wimbledon where I received 45/45 points in the International Baccalaureate (including Higher Maths) and 14A*s at GCSE (including GCSE Maths and Advanced Maths). I then went on to Cambridge University and gained a Double First in History and a Distinction in my Masters. I have over 1000 hours tutoring experience in English, Maths, History and Science and particular I have taught Maths at 11 and 13+, Key Stages 3 and 4 and GCSE, with an excellent record of getting students into the school of their choice or the examination grade they were hoping for. I am also very experienced at using online platforms (bitpaper and Zoom in tandem works well) and ensuring that the student gets the most out of these sessions.

I believe that tutoring should focus on the student’s needs. Instead of a ‘one size fits all’ approach, I tailor sessions to my student’s personality and learning methods. While at Cambridge University and Kings College School Wimbledon, I developed highly successful and efficient strategies for revising and learning. As well as a holistic understanding of the syllabus, I believe my real value added comes in helping my students change how, not just what, they learn.
