About Tristan

About Me:
I am an Electrical Engineering student who earned my prestigious DOST Scholarship through hard work and niche problem-solving styles. My goal is to prepare my students so they can qualify for top-tier university entrance exams and elite scholarship opportunities too.
Since Math and Physics are some of the hardest subjects, I will make them easier for you. I can help build the exact foundation needed to pass high-stakes national assessments. Let's explore shortcut calculations in math while deeply understanding the meaning behind them.

My Classroom Vibe:
One thing about me is I always set the atmosphere into a friendly-type, where students will feel more comfortable around the session. This deters students from holding back or abstaining from questions that may help them understand the session better.
With my 5-year experience of teaching co-students and elementary students as a freelance tutor, I developed flexible teaching methods enhancing versatility, and making lessons more open to everyone.

Subjects I Teach:
Mathematics: Elementary Math, High School Math, Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and College Entrance Exam Prep (UPCAT, DOST, PUPCET, etc.).
Physics: General Physics for High School and STEM track students.

About the lesson

Teaching Manner:
I teach in a friendly manner, patience, and analytical observation to my students. This helps them stay calm whether we are building strong math foundations or cracking high-stakes College Entrance Exams (UPCAT, DOST, PUPCET, etc.).

Teaching Methods:
1st part - Understanding the meaning behind everything in the problem.
2nd part - Mastery in solving the equations.
3rd part (optional, but highly recommended) - Shortcuts to answer these math problems in under 30 seconds.
4th part - Give out homework for foundation mastery.

What Sets Me Apart From Other Tutors:
I prioritize students to understand the real meanings behind everything in the mathematical problem instead of just memorizing engineering steps.
I follow-up with DOST-level shortcuts to solving problems for elite exam speed.
I offer versatile solutions to problems so you have multiple ways to attack a single question.

Who The Lessons Are For:
1.High School Student - my teaching style is mainly on efficiency and understanding which would fit perfectly for senior high students aiming to pass elite university and DOST scholarship exams.
2.Elementary Students - I have more than 5 years of experience of teaching elementary students teaching them how to understand and visualize in their minds to tackle a math problem and build strong foundations.
