Mrs. Mary was my 11th-grade English teacher. I appreciate everything about her teachings. I honestly was having trouble with my English classes until she became my teacher because she made me comfortable asking questions if I needed help. I enjoyed coming to class each day because it was so fun to learn from her. Mrs. Mary is and will forever be my favorite teacher. I followed her everywhere she volunteered. She volunteered to be the manager of our school's basketball team and a summer drama camp program at the school for the younger kids. I joined both the basketball team and volunteered for the summer camp. Even after graduating, I wanted to see if I could volunteer and help her get ready for the next school year. I hoped to have kids in time so my kids can experience such an amazing teacher as well.

Mary was my AP Literature teacher in 12th grade, and she was truly exceptional. She provided challenging coursework while also offering thoughtful, student-specific feedback that helped each of us grow as writers and critical thinkers. Her teaching style prepared us well for the AP exams and pushed us to do our best academically.

Beyond being a wonderful teacher, Mary is incredibly talented, educated, and passionate about literature and learning. She also has a warm, encouraging personality that made her classroom both inspiring and welcoming. I highly recommend her tutoring services to any student looking to strengthen their reading, writing, and analytical skills.

Mrs. Mary was one of the most impactful educators I ever had. As my AP Literature teacher many years ago, she was not only exceptional at teaching literature and pushing us to think critically, but she genuinely cared about her students as people.

One memory that has always stayed with me was when she noticed my glasses constantly sliding off during class. Without me ever asking, she went out of her way and bought nose pad grips out of her own pocket just to help me. It may seem like a small gesture, but to me, it spoke volumes about the kind of person she was: thoughtful, observant, and deeply invested in her students’ well-being.

She consistently went far beyond what was expected of a teacher, creating an environment where students felt supported, seen, and encouraged to succeed. AP Literature was a challenging course, but her passion, kindness, and dedication made a lasting impact on me. Years later, I still remember her not just for what she taught, but for the genuine care and compassion she showed her students. Mrs. Mary was truly one of the rare teachers who left a lasting mark.

I know Mary from our English class where she helped me as a pair helper. She is patient, kind, and always willing to help when something is confusing.
What I appreciate most is how clearly she explains things and makes class feel less stressful. One experience I appreciated was when she helped me understand assignments during class activities.

Mary wasn’t my specific tutor in highschool, BUT, she was a helper in one of my classes and i really really struggled in that class specifically! I remember her always taking the time to help me and explain the same things over and over in different ways until i understood… she is the only reason i ever passed that class!

Mary is the best! While I wasn’t her “student” I was her co-worker going through the teacher certification process and she was extremely helpful in that process for me. No matter my questions or frustrations, her ability to “coach” me through it was top notch. She was patient and thorough. She never made me feel like I was struggling. She is a wonderful educator.
