About Ruthie

As an experienced French tutor with 14 years of teaching practice, I have successfully helped 150–200 students improve their language skills and reach their goals. My teaching style is grounded in personalized learning, where lessons are designed to meet the unique pace and needs of each student.

I focus on simplifying complex concepts and making them easy to understand, while also encouraging practical use of the language through conversation and real-life scenarios. My sessions are structured yet flexible, allowing students to learn effectively without feeling overwhelmed.

I am committed to creating a positive and supportive learning space where students feel confident to participate. My aim is to guide learners toward fluency in a clear and enjoyable way.

About the lesson

My French teaching methodology is built on the principles of flexibility, empathy, compassion, communication, and collaboration, ensuring a balanced and learner-focused experience. I design lessons that can be adjusted according to the student’s pace, goals, and level of understanding, allowing for both structured progression and adaptive learning.

With empathy and compassion, I create a welcoming environment where students feel comfortable exploring the language without fear of mistakes. I believe that emotional support is essential in building confidence, especially when practicing speaking skills. Communication is at the heart of my sessions, as I encourage students to actively engage in conversations, ask questions, and express their ideas in French.

Collaboration is incorporated through interactive and participatory methods, including group-style discussions (even in one-on-one settings), role-play, and contextual learning exercises. I also integrate relevant subjects such as grammar, vocabulary building, and cultural insights to provide a comprehensive understanding of the language.

My approach ensures that students develop not only linguistic skills but also the confidence and enthusiasm needed to use French effectively in everyday life.
