About Shay
I currently have a Psychology MSc distinction and I am a health informatics PhD student at UCL. I also hold a Bachelor’s degree in Health and Social Science.
Through my studies, I have developed strong skills in academic writing, research methods, and data analysis, particularly in supporting high-quality assignments and dissertations.
I understand how challenging and overwhelming university work can feel, especially when you are unsure how to improve your grades. I enjoy helping students build confidence in their work and understand exactly what is needed to succeed.

My lessons are focused on helping you improve your assignments, essays and dissertations in a clear and structured way. Rather than just going through theory, I work directly with your work to identify what needs to improve and how to fix it.
Before each session, I review your document, feedback and marking criteria so we can focus on exactly what will help you achieve a higher grade. During our session, I guide you through key improvements, explain where you are losing marks, and give you a clear plan to follow.
This approach is ideal if you feel stuck, unsure how to improve, or want to move your work into a higher grade band.
