About Evelyn

¡Hola! My name is Evelyn, and I was born in Galicia, Spain. Spanish is my native language, and I’ve grown up surrounded by the richness of its culture, history, and everyday expressions. Alongside being a professional dancer with years of international experience, I have a passion for teaching and sharing my language with others. I know what it feels like to learn and live in different countries, so I understand the challenges of picking up a new language. That’s why I approach teaching with patience, encouragement, and creativity. I love making lessons practical and enjoyable, so my students not only improve their Spanish but also gain confidence and cultural understanding. Whether you want to travel, study, work abroad, or simply enjoy learning a new skill, I’m here to help you achieve your goals in a supportive and motivating way

About the lesson

My lessons are student-centered and fully adapted to your goals. In our first class, we’ll discuss what you want to achieve — whether it’s passing an exam, improving conversational fluency, preparing for travel, or learning Spanish for work. From there, I’ll create a personalized learning plan that fits your level and interests.

I use a combination of methods, including:
- Conversation practice to build confidence and natural fluency
- Grammar explained simply, with exercises that make it easy to apply
- Reading and listening activities using real materials (articles, music, videos)
- Writing and pronunciation practice to strengthen accuracy
- Cultural insights, because learning a language also means understanding how people use it every day

My approach is interactive, flexible, and supportive. I encourage students to ask questions, make mistakes, and enjoy the learning process. Lessons can be structured and academic, or more creative and conversational — depending on what works best for you.
