About Shubhang

Hi, I'm Shubhang! As an IBDP graduate who achieved a 7 in Mathematics AI HL, I've developed a passion for mathematics and a deep understanding of the subject. I know firsthand the challenges that students can face, and I'm excited to help others overcome those obstacles with confidence and clarity. Teaching is a way for me to give back and share my love for learning with students who want to improve and excel in math.

My goal is to create a positive and encouraging learning environment, where students feel comfortable to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow. I believe that with the right guidance, anyone can master mathematics. My approach is patient, structured, and focused on helping students build a strong foundation that will benefit them in the long run.

About the lesson

My tutoring approach focuses on personalised, student-centred learning. I tailor each lesson to fit the student's unique needs, fostering both their understanding and love for mathematics. I use practical examples and problem-solving techniques that align with the IBDP curriculum, ensuring students grasp concepts thoroughly. My teaching methodology emphasises active engagement, where students are encouraged to ask questions and participate in discussions.

A typical lesson lasts around 60-90 minutes, depending on the student's needs. I focus on building strong foundations in mathematical principles and guiding students through practice questions to develop confidence and proficiency.

Having earned my IBDP diploma with a 7 in Mathematics AI HL, I bring firsthand experience with the challenges of the curriculum. My lessons are suitable for high school students, particularly those preparing for IB or VCE exams or needing additional support with mathematics. I can also cater to the needs of primary school students, helping them out with any difficulties they may be having.
