About Michael

You need somebody who has been around the world a few times. I mean both physically from country to country, but also through the digital computer world as well. I began my excursion into the digital world with a Commodore 64, then a Radio Shack Model 4P, followed by a Miniframe multi-user/multi-tasking with XENIX cousin to UNIX, and Windows 3 (1990), through Win 95, 96, 98, XP, 7, and 10.
In the late 1970s through the mid-1990s I was a member of a small group of computer professionals working for the Department of the Army (USA). This little group was called ARPANET (Advanced Research Projects Agency Network) that developed the internet as we know it today.

From that little upstart we developed office automation, inserting graphics into printable documents, and e-mail as well as websites. Today we can reach students all over the world with computerized communications and the wonders of photography can develop our use in conveying information.

From 1995 through 2003 I traveled from Amsterdam, Germany, Austria, Hungry, Create, Kuwait, and Iraq. In most locations I used my photographic skills to create life saving digital instructions for soldiers in the field.

To be able to convey your ideas, thoughts, insights, experience to other people you need to have the skills to gather the information, place the information in easy to read and understand form, punctuate it with graphics, display the presentation in a graphic form (PowerPoint), and provide your audience with printed notes.

I offer four basic courses that will require minimum computer and software requirements.
1. Windows 7, or later.
2. A popular digital camera capable of recording 12-Megapixel photographs. (Cell phone not acceptable). (Camera types: Canon, Nikon, Olympus, Panasonic, Sony, etc.
3. Paint Shop Pro X-8 through 2021. (Photoshop not acceptable for digital processing).

You tell me what you need from any course and I will customize the course to your requirements.

Visually speaking before a live audience, Graphics that relate to the subject at hand, and printed material for later review.

Photography will teach you how to capture the best photograph of your subject.
Digital Processing will teach you how to get the very best out of your photo capture for high resolution distribution, paper printing, websites, e-mail, and mobile devices. Microsoft Word will enable you to make the best use of your photographs in a presentation, and PowerPoint will not only present a professional slide presentation but will also export to a video file format.
