About Yannick

I am now studying computer science in the 6th semester. Mathematics in particular gave me a lot of pleasure in school and during my studies. I already have some tutoring experience. But only in English and not in mathematics. However, this was very successful, which gives me the courage and hope that the project of my favorite teaching subject will be crowned with success.

About the lesson

My approach is to teach math the way I learned to love it myself. Through a love of puzzles and an honest understanding of facts and their backgrounds. For me it won't be about learning formulas by heart. Rather, I would like to encourage you to think about mathematical facts and their backgrounds and their consequences. I expect my students to be willing to understand the material. I firmly believe that if that will is there everyone has the potential to become a good mathematician. In return, I offer a lot of motivation and passion on my part, the opportunity to ask questions at any time and make suggestions or improvement requests and not to forget to really understand the incredibly satisfying feeling.

Perfect! Yannick ist ein sehr geduldiger und freundlicher Lehrer, der mir in Mathe geholfen hat von einer 4 auf eine 2+ zu kommen. Er lässt einen viel selber ausprobieren und sagt einem nicht direkt die Lösung vor, wodurch ich das Schulmaterial besser verinnerlichen konnte. Außerdem half er mir auch außerhalb der Nachhilfestunden bei den Hausaufgaben, als ich nicht weiter kam. Kurz gefasst kann ich sagen, dass Yannick ein junger, ruhiger und chilliger Nachhilfelehrer ist, bei dem ich nicht das Gefühl hatte lernen zu „müssen“ und sogar ein wenig Spaß an Mathe empfand.
