About Angel

I am a dedicated Digital Literacy Mentor with hands-on experience helping people build confidence in using technology in everyday life. Working in a library environment, I support learners from diverse backgrounds in developing essential computer skills, improving digital confidence, and learning how to safely and effectively navigate online tools.
I take a calm, patient, and supportive approach to teaching, ensuring every student feels comfortable regardless of their starting level. My focus is on breaking down complex concepts into simple, easy-to-understand steps, while encouraging active practice so learners can immediately apply what they learn.
I believe everyone learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to suit individual needs, whether someone is completely new to computers or just looking to improve specific skills. My lessons are structured, interactive, and designed to build real-world confidence with technology.
With experience as both a Digital Mentor and an event volunteer, I have developed strong communication skills and the ability to support learners in a friendly, approachable, and professional manner. My goal is to create a positive learning environment where students feel encouraged, respected, and motivated to progress at their own pace.

About the lesson

I take a practical and patient approach to teaching digital literacy, focusing on making technology simple, useful, and stress-free for every learner. My goal is to help students feel confident using computers and digital tools in their everyday life, whether it’s for work, study, or personal use.

I use a step-by-step teaching method, starting with the basics and building up at a comfortable pace. I focus heavily on hands-on learning, so students don’t just listen they actively practice on the computer during the lesson. I also repeat key concepts when needed and adjust my teaching style depending on how each individual learns best.

A typical lesson usually runs for 30 to 60 minutes, which gives enough time to learn new skills, practice them, and ask questions without feeling rushed. Lessons can be adjusted in length depending on the learner’s needs.

I currently work as a Digital Mentor in a library setting, where I help people develop essential computer skills, troubleshoot basic technical issues, and improve their confidence with digital tools. I also have experience as an event volunteer, which has strengthened my communication and ability to support people from different backgrounds.

My lessons are designed for beginners, including adults, seniors, and anyone who wants to improve their basic computer and internet skills. I focus on creating a supportive and friendly environment where learners feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.
