About Caralene

Heyyy I am Caralene Sebastian. I am a design student. I love teaching people because I love sharing my knowledge, and I love to learn new things from people as well. You never know; you might get to know a whole new perspective as well.

About the lesson

I believe that design is a discipline; it is structured, but its rules can be broken if you master the rules. That's how legends are created.

My approach in teaching will be hands-on because design is something in which you should apply the theory in real life. Most of the classes will be task-based. Your course will be designed for you; it's custom based on the skill level you have right now. It will be custom because different people will have different interests, and everyone will be at a different pace.

Basics will cover (software)
Adobe Photoshop
Adobe Illustrator
Adobe InDesign
Figma (optional only if they are interested)

Theories
Design Fundamentals
12 Design Principles
Typography
Photography

At the end, the student will get one portfolio project which the student can add to their portfolio.

Caralene is an excellent teacher who really knows how to explain well. She really understands little nuances and details which makes the learning process more in depth and engaging. I loved learning from her and I'd recommend her to a beginner or to even someone looking to polish their knowledge.
