About Florence
Hello! I am Florrie! I am a firm believer that music is for everyone, as it has the power to make you feel good. As an accomplished and experienced singer with experience in conducting choirs and teaching younger children, I approach lessons in a patient, non-judgemental and compassionate way, as I know self-belief can help you go far! I have a passion for teaching and all kinds of music, and love connecting with new people! I know that music is so subjective to everyone’s unique personal taste, therefore what we sing is totally up to you! Having played violin for the last 13 years, I understand that practice can be tricky! Therefore I offer violin and singing guided practice, in between lessons, or to those who are self-learning. This way, we can really focus on the important technical things, like scales and sight-reading which you may not be able to cover with your teacher!

I offer 1 hour singing lessons, and am there for both those aiming for an audition/exam and those who just want to sing for fun! I also offer practice guidance in both singing (all levels) and violin (up to grade 5 level) practice sessions. These sessions are an opportunity for the student to learn how to practise efficiently (which is an important skill in itself!). These can be particularly helpful to those aiming to take an exam in the near future.
