About Hamza
Hi, I’m a dentistry student with a strong background in maths and science, having achieved Grade 9 in GCSE Maths, Biology and Chemistry.
I genuinely enjoy working with younger children and helping them build confidence in their learning. I believe maths shouldn’t feel intimidating or stressful, and that with the right support children can begin to enjoy the process of figuring things out.
When I was younger, I had someone who helped me realise that sitting down to practise or revise isn’t something to be afraid of, and that learning can actually be fun when things are explained in the right way. That’s the kind of positive and encouraging environment I try to create in my lessons.
For me, tutoring isn’t just about improving grades - it’s about helping children develop confidence, curiosity, and a healthy attitude towards learning as they grow.

My lessons are designed to help primary school children feel comfortable and confident with maths. I take a patient and supportive approach, explaining concepts clearly and encouraging students to ask questions.
Each lesson is tailored to the student’s level and pace. We start with a short warm-up to practise key skills, then work through examples together before trying similar questions independently.
I focus on building strong foundations in areas such as arithmetic, times tables, fractions and problem solving. My goal is to help students understand the reasoning behind maths, not just memorise methods.
Lessons are interactive and positive so children feel proud of their progress and gradually become more confident with numbers.
