About Ramneek
I am a current student and recent graduate, during my degree I have mentored a school student over the past four years mainly helping her with GCSE level subjects, and Maths AS level. I also mentor at a school in London Bridge weekly helping at KS2&KS3 level. I have also organised interview and application sessions for my peers who are interested in pursuing medical or dental or science careers.

I have given lessons to KS2/KS3 as well as GCSE level. My teaching style involves a lot of discussing, I find that it helps to use a lot of analogies to help explain sometimes complex concepts. I frequently use plain paper and whiteboards so that my student can visualise what I am trying to explain as sometimes words can be difficult to understand. At the end of the session I always like to question my student to ensure they understand the content and can explain what we have discussed. This is a key technique I have used myself when studying and find it one of the most useful. I also think it is important to use repetition when trying to study so for my precious GCSE student I always made sure to test her again on previous knowledge the in weeks to come to ensure she understood and remembered the information
