I have always been very good at mathematics and passed an 8 and a 9 for mathematics B and D last year. Personally, I think it is very important to first have the basics of a subject in order before the theory becomes more difficult. I always try to make pupils think about what they are doing and why they perform a certain calculation. I find that much more important than the imitation of examples. I always have a lot of patience and can explain things in different ways. In the end, the student must be able to independently carry out assignments with as little help as possible from me.
