About Bonita
Dear student, I focus on progress rather than perfection, because we learn through trial and error. Therefore, rest assured, I will teach with patience and encouragement.
In South Africa, I have taught students ageing from 10-15 years. This experience, has taught me that each student learns differently and it's important to adapt my teaching style according to the student's needs. I taught English (as second language), History and Geography. Recently, I've obtained my TEFL certificate and I am enjoying the one-on-one ESL tutoring experience.
I've worked in education, banking and retail, so I've acquired numerous skills. These skills include teaching, relationship building, teamwork, adaptability, problem-solving, leadership, etc. I have over 20 years of experience in the world of work. Over these years I have learnt about professionalism, etiquette, work-life balance, etc.
All of these experiences and skills, makes me a versatile Tutor.
